A little fun in an obscure spot

I found this forgotten fence in the back of town that's distressed just enough that it's actually really attractive. At least in my opinion! I took my muse there the other day for her 17-month "photo shoot". I use that term loosely as it was more like me snapping a couple of pics before the little miss decided she had had enough of this weird, industrial area (and I had too. Let's just say it wasn't the cleanest part of town...but I may go back again with Eamon!)

Celebrating Passover

How lucky are Eamon, Nora, Sam, Jack, and Lily to be able to celebrate two special holidays--Passover and Easter?! While visiting Maryland last week, we joined Felice, Jeff, and Dana for a seder. All the boys wore "kippahs" (Eamon loved his zebra-print topper) and gobbled up the matzoh. My dad and Felice did their best to stick to the script (always so special hearing them sing together!), but it's more than challenging to do anything routine with one 4-year-old, two 3-year-olds, a one-year-old, and a four-month-old ruling the roost. Oh well, at least everyone plenty of fun, even if the true meaning of the seder was lost on the younger set.

Hop to It!

Nothing like a 65-degree, no-clouds-in-the-sky kinda day to create the perfect setting for an Easter egg hunt! That's just what we got on Easter Sunday at the Flynn's, where we enjoyed a yummy brunch with the family and friends before letting the little ones loose in the yard to scramble for eggs! It was so great seeing everyone in their Easter finest and having so much fun.
