My "Vintage" Dress

Today I am wearing a dress purchased from J-Crew in 2001. Considering it cost me about $50 (very pricey for me at the time!), and has made apperances at a few weddings, banquets, long hours at work, and on many other hot summer days (like today), I can probably call it the best purchase of my life. But I'm wondering--can a five-year-old garment be considered "vintage?" It would be sooo much cooler if so.
