For my work with National Geographic KIDS, I'm always looking for amazing animal stories. Heard one today that I just don't think could make the pages of a kids' magazine, but it's definitely bizarre-0! Apparently there's a cat living in a Rhode Island retirement home that cuddles up to those patients who have less than four hours to live. He's done this with 25 people so far, and now when the staff sees him in a room, they automatically call the patient's family.
Maybe there's a story in here about cats' relationships with the dead...remember the one in the Soprano's that kept staring at the picture of Christopher on the wall in the Bada Bing???
