Hoboken Goes Green!

Hoboken went green on Saturday--and not in the hybrid-driving, energy-reducing, paper-saving kind of way. More in the drink-until-your-face-falls-off kind of way, with a parade thrown in. It's tradition here to celebrate St. Patty's on the first week of March, so everyone got into the spirit by donning their green and either chug-a-lugging at the town's many bars, or cheering on the parade marching down Washington Street. Having a sweet vantage point over the parade route, we participated in the latter from the comfort of our living room and made an Irish-themed brunch including green pancakes, mimosas, sausage and egg scrambles, and black pudding (Mark's choice). Maureen arrived that morning just in time for the fesitivities, and like a true Irish-woman, she came dressed in green!
