Just got back from the DMV--after waiting in line for 30 minutes, I was told that the duplicate title that we waited a good three months for to needed to be signed by Nissan, which it wasn't. Of course.
That's another two hours of my life I won't be getting back.
The DMV is Harlem has got to be the most ghetto place in this city. After two trips there, I hope I never have to return---I'm leaving the next visit up to Mark.

why dont you go to a dmv in a different 'hood??
the one in "midtown" at the manhattan mall isn't much better, although I did survive a trip there on crutches.
I went to the one in Harlem b/c it's "only" a subway stop away from my office (i.e. an hour round trip). The other locations require even more of a hike.
